What Is an Implant Denture?

In this video, Dr. Berger explains how implants work to stabilize dentures, creating a secure and comfortable fit. With enough bone support, this process can often be completed quickly and efficiently.

For an implant to function properly, it must be securely placed into the bone. Once the implant is stable, the denture is designed to fit over it. The denture features a housing that allows it to snap in and out over the implant, providing a secure and reliable fit.

When there is sufficient space in the bone to accommodate the implant and the housing in the denture, we can typically stabilize the denture very quickly, providing patients with a firm and comfortable fit in a short amount of time.
