What Is a Fixed Restoration?
In this video, Dr. Berger covers how fixed restorations work by anchoring bridgework to implants in the upper or lower arch. The result is a natural-looking, functional set of teeth designed for long-term stability and durability.
A fixed restoration enables us to create bridgework over the implants placed in either the upper or lower arch. The process for preparing the teeth is similar to that used for traditional bridgework. After placing the implants, we take an impression and send it to our dental laboratory. There, they fabricate a set of teeth that looks natural and functions like a normal bridge.
