Understanding the Implant Denture Process
This video explains how we can often complete denture stabilization with implants in just 24 hours. With advance preparation, patients typically leave with a secure, functional smile the very next day.
Generally, when a patient is getting new dentures made, the laboratory will prepare the dentures in advance. This preparation enables us to place the implants on the same day, thereby stabilizing the dentures, whether for the upper or lower arch. On the same day as the implant placement, I can also take an impression.
Typically, by the very next day, the patient will have a denture-supported implant system ready to use. In most cases, the entire process is completed within 24 hours, allowing the patient to regain normal function quickly.
