As your family dentist in Sonora, our team at Sonora Dentist works hard to ensure that every patient can enjoy a healthy, great-looking smile for a lifetime. Whether you’re a new or returning patient, Dr. Berger understands that a lot of questions can come up regarding scheduling an appointment, filing insurance claims, and finding the right dental care to meet your individual needs. To help make it easier to find the information you need, we’ve put together this list of answers to some frequently asked questions.

What are your hours?

You can find Dr. Berger and the rest of our staff happily assisting patients Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.

Where are you located?

What types of insurance do you accept?

To make it more convenient for our patients to receive the advanced dental care they require we currently accept most dental insurance plans. As a courtesy to our patients, we will automatically bill your insurance company for all services and treatments you receive. Our experienced front office staff will do everything possible to ensure you receive the maximum benefits allowed under your insurance plan.

What types of dental services do you provide?

As an experienced family dentist in Sonora, Dr. Berger provides his patients with a comprehensive range of advanced Preventative, Cosmetic, and Restorative dental care services. Whether you need to routine dental exam and cleaning, desire a whiter, brighter smile, or require dental implants to repair damaged teeth, Dr. Berger can provide the care you need in a comfortable and relaxing environment.

How often should I schedule an appointment?

Both Dr. Berger and the American Dental Association recommend that patients schedule a dental exam and cleaning once every six months. However, patients with certain medical conditions may need to schedule appointments more frequently, depending on the current state of their oral health.

Regular exams provide Dr. Berger the opportunity to spot the early signs of tooth decay and gum disease that can undermine a patient’s long-term oral health. Frequent cleanings provide our team of gentle dental hygienists with the chance to remove plaque deposits from the surface of a patient’s teeth and below the gum line before the harmful bacteria can contribute to the development of more serious oral health concerns.

Do you currently run any special offers for patients?

To make dental care more affordable than ever to our patients without insurance, Sonora Dentist currently has available a number of special offers designed to help improve the long-term health of our patients. For a complete list of our current Dental Health Specials, please click here.

I have a fear of the dentist, how can you help?

If you suffer from some form of dental anxiety, take comfort in knowing that up to 15 percent of all Americans experience some type of fear of the dentist. Unfortunately, avoiding the dentist because of a fear of needles or feeling uncomfortable during cleanings and exams prevents you from receiving the dental care needed to protect your long-term oral health.

At Sonora Dentist, our team works hard to ensure that every visit is relaxing and stress-free. Dr. Berger takes the time to fully explain every treatment and procedure in advance and will answer all of your questions and address any concerns, prior to administering care. By keeping you feeling informed, engaged, and relaxed, we can hope to eliminate any anxiety and keep your smile looking its best.
